The pre-consent work can be variable depending on council requirements, resource consents etc, but the normal build time of the house in the factory is approximately 9-10 weeks from start to finish. Once the house is delivered to site & placed on piles, there is approximately 3-4 weeks of decks, steps, baseboards & finishing work to obtain code of compliance.

When you hear the term factory built or prefabricated, it refers to the type of construction process, rather than a specific style of house. Our homes are built in a production line, inside a factory where they are fully finished inside & out and are then transported to site on the back of a truck and placed on timber piles.
The benefits of this building method ensures fast build times, fixed costs, a controlled environment for better quality, less material waste, no travel costs to site everyday, no weather affected delays and a great working environment for our staff.
No we do not provide long term finance for our homes. However we can provide bridging finance to help facilitate your lenders requirements. Some banks are reluctant to finance a manufactured home due to them having limited security of their funds during the offsite manufacturing process.
Once the home has been delivered to site, the bank regains full security of their investment and is happy to release funds. In these situations, we can help by offering alternative payment terms, subject to the client having sufficient funds approved to be able to complete the project with written evidence provided & the client must be able to pay the 10% deposit on signing the contract agreement.
Third party finance brokers can help find the best finance package to suit your needs.
